These Community Guidelines apply to any content you share, and any interaction you have with other users, where Stride offers sharing, social or community features (for example, shared insights, comments, profiles or messaging). They form part of our Terms of Service. Stride is operated by The Visionary Platform Ltd (“Stride”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
Stride is primarily a private, single-owner tool. These guidelines are forward-looking and apply to any current or future feature that lets you share content with, or interact with, other people.
1. The basics
When using any community or sharing feature, you agree to:
- be respectful and lawful;
- only share content you have the right to share;
- keep things honest and not misleading.
2. Animal welfare
Because Stride is about horses, we hold a high bar on welfare. You must not post, share, or promote content that:
- depicts, encourages, or trivialises cruelty, abuse, neglect, or unsafe practices towards any animal;
- presents harmful “advice” that could endanger an animal’s health or welfare; or
- breaches applicable animal-welfare laws.
3. No professional or medical advice dressed up as fact
Stride is not a source of veterinary diagnosis or treatment (see Section 6 of the Terms). When sharing, do not present AI outputs, your opinions, or others’ opinions as professional veterinary, medical, or training advice. Encourage others to consult a qualified professional.
4. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not:
- harass, bully, threaten, or abuse anyone;
- post hateful, discriminatory, violent, sexual, or otherwise unlawful content;
- share someone else’s personal data (including other people’s horse, yard, or contact details) without permission;
- infringe intellectual-property rights (e.g. others’ photos or videos);
- spam, scam, phish, advertise without permission, or impersonate others; or
- attempt to disrupt, exploit, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
5. Reporting and enforcement
- You can report content or behaviour that breaks these guidelines via the in-app “Report a problem” feature or by emailing support@strideapp.co.uk.
- We may remove content, issue warnings, or suspend or terminate accounts that breach these guidelines or the Terms, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.
- We aim to be fair and proportionate, and to give notice where appropriate, except where we must act immediately (for example, for safety or legal reasons).
6. Changes
We may update these guidelines as our community features develop. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
